As Peperina leaped back into battle, the spaceships stopped charging mindlessly against them and rapidly gathered into large concentrations, their mechanical contraptions unifying, combining their energy sources to unleash large beams against the city.

“No, you won’t!”

Peperina furiously smashed the beam rushing down to Mexican City, hitting it so hard with her powerful Aura it was redirected into the skies above, releasing a massive explosion.

BOOOM!

And then, the gigantic skeletal god appeared behind the massive, combined spaceships, unleashing a barrage of wild attacks while laughing so loudly it seemed the god was singing.

“GYAHAHEEHEH!”

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

The spaceship released several barriers, but they were overcome by the sheer power of the God Embodiment, ultimately exploding into pieces.

BOOOM!

As this happened, Pablo and Peperina noticed several more spaceships doing the same, the whole fleet above Mexico City being of above a hundred.

With only a third gone, there were still way too many left!

And to make things worse.

“Hmm?”

Pablo quickly noticed a large group of lizard-like monsters, between three and four meters in height, start running into the city’s southern, western, and eastern sides.

They seemed to have left their spaceships and decided to invade the city on foot, carrying giant laser guns and massive weapons.

“Looks like they think they can fool us… Jajaja, no tan rápido.”

As he smiled, another magic circle behind him had already been conjured and was activated instantly; the mist, born from the sacrifices of one hundred souls he already had gathered within one of his rings beforehand, manifested.

“{Divine Death God Call}: {Ītzpāpalōtl’s Divine Spirit Embodiment}”

A beautiful goddess emerged, resembling both a mummified corpse and a dark fairy from the abyss, spreading her giant obsidian butterfly wings. Her dry, black skin was covered in white tattoos, and her face was wearing a red-colored skull mask.

“Mother of sacrifices and death, go and spread death to our enemies.”

“Fufufu~!”

The slender death goddess flew through the skies as she waved a huge staff with a skull on top of it, and from her own mist, countless ancient Aztec warriors manifested. They were skeletons, though, wearing ancient tribal armor, and they charged against the Saurians, catching them by surprise.

“Grack Gryake?!”

“Gyshiek shakeal!”

“Shaaakkaa!”

The Saurians glanced at the skeletons and reacted angrily, hissing at them and speaking in their own dialect, charging forward. Their gigantic strength easily allowed them to tear apart the skeletons in seconds.

CRAASH! CRAASH! CRAASH!

As the skeletons were broken down to pieces one after another, the Saurians laughed at how pathetic they were, completely missing the giant goddess above them, hiding behind all the mist.

“Heheheh~”

She giggled evilly, as the bones left behind suddenly merged back together; the former skeletons now looked thrice as big, fusing with one another.

“HUH?!”

The Saurians were surprised, stepping back as they saw in awe what had happened, but they didn’t cower in fear or anything of the sort, charging forward angrily and attacking the skeletons with their powerful physical strength and their laser beams.

The giant skeletons were able to hold back against their physical attacks for a few blows but were once more destroyed…

They laughed, moving forward.

And yet…

Once more.

FLUOSH!

All the skeletons emerged once more; the bones left behind merged. Now they were over four meters in height; each skeleton was immense and bulky, covered in black armor.

“GEECK?!”

The Saurians grew furious, firing laser beams against the skeletons once more! Most of them were able to evade the incoming beams, attacking the Saurians with giant tribal spears made of black bone.

CRAASH!

Until one of the Saurians was killed, impaled through its chest, its heart was taken out of its chest and offered as a sacrifice; the goddess above was pleased.

FLASH!

Out of nowhere, the skeleton that offered the heart gained a divine blessing, becoming twice as big and even stronger than before…

The Saurians were still trying to figure out how all of this even worked, and what the hell were these monsters!

But as they continued fighting, and as more skeletons died and revived, while the Saurians hearts were sacrificed, the undead only continued evolving into stronger forms.

This was the power of Pablo’s second Divine Spirit Embodiment Summon, the Aztec Death Goddess of Sacrifice, Ītzpāpalōtl’s Ability!

“{Endless Death Cycle of Sacrifice}”

With a smile on his lips, Pablo’s eyes glowed with blue-colored phantasmal energies; this was the ability his summon possessed, capable of unleashing a horde of weak undead that would continue growing stronger the more they died and were revived by Ītzpāpalōtl.

As this happens, those undead that manage to kill a foe and offer a heart as a sacrifice receive the goddess’ divine blessing and evolve into stronger forms.

With enough time, Pablo amassed an army with this power and wiped out monsters from whole cities, becoming widely acclaimed as a god walking among men himself.

And therefore, becoming a World Class Hunter.

The same scene was happening all around the city; Pablo didn’t let any of the Saurians even take a single step further, encasing them in Nether Mist and then using the power of Ītzpāpalōtl to put them on an endless loop of death and sacrifice!

“Incredible, his abilities are beyond that of normal Hunters of this world…” Peperina glanced from above. “Is he someone famous? They called him Pablo… I should do some research later!”

As Peperina glanced from above at what was happening in the city, she quickly went all out, seeing as she was surrounded by four combined spaceships unleashing their beams at her.

“Time to go all out this time!”

Her crimson flames encompassed her entire body, merging with her until she became completely made out of them. Her hammer grew even larger as her Aura and flames divided her entire body, creating three clones made of fire with hammers of their own.

“Let’s go!”

She and her clones rushed towards the spaceships; the countless beams were rapidly evaded, leaping through the empty air and then, with their giant hammers.

“{Spiritual Shapesmithing Arts: Surtr’s Hammer}!”

The hammers, gathering her infernal spiritual flames, smashed through metal and wires, destroying the Saurians inside as they burned into ashes one after another.

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!

As she unleashed this catastrophic and destructive attack, she quickly looked into the skies, rushing towards the other spaceships as they fired lasers and missiles her way.

With her clones, she distracted them and made them spread their attention, allowing her to charge with her entire body ablaze, resembling a little meteor.

“{Infernal Rampage}!”

With her hammer, one after another, the massive spaceships were completely destroyed, as Peperina went serious, the army of Saurians was quickly reduced within the skies, and with Pablo’s cooperation, from the ground as well.

“Dios mío, esa chica sí sabe pelear…” Said Pablo while rubbing his chin. “¿De dónde viene?”

As he wondered where she came from, suddenly, a little girl flew by his side. She had long black hair like him, but her skin was pale white; she had two sharp fangs and red eyes. She was wearing a cute black and white dress and a white summer hat.

“Papa! What’s going on? You’re fighting?”

“Oh! Si María, hija. Some weird reptilian monsters showed up, so I have to do something. Looks like the Hunters of this city are already fighting some of the other way around the city, but they’re so weak I have to help them out. No wait, not weak; um, they’re just fighting very strong monsters.”

“Monsters? Really? But we were just drinking ice cream; Mama is angry you’re not yet back in the cafeteria!”

“Sorry, sorry, I’ll be right back, mi niña. Can’t you tell your mom I’ll get right back there in time?”

“Bueno… I’m going then!”

The half-vampire girl sprouted red-colored wings from her back and flew down back to her mother as Pablo felt his wife’s angered presence from below.

“Ay, esta mujer…”

He sighed; he loved her, but she was quite the grumpy woman sometimes. And even in this situation, she hardly gave a damn about what was going on, showing just how strong she was, as this entire conflict just felt beneath her.

“Esto me pasa por casarme con una mujer de la torre…”

As he sighed, he suddenly noticed something approaching, a huge emerald light descending from the skies, in the shape of a human.

FLAAASH!

“Huh? What’s that?”

Peperina looked up, preparing to battle as the light suddenly stopped, floating in midair; it revealed the body of a tall white man, with a muscular frame, covered in a red and blue skin-tight suit, and whose eyes were also covered by a green and black mask.

In his chest, there was a large, green-colored jade powering him up, his aura continuously growing larger and shaping into several gigantic arms and hands.

“I came here as fast as possible after healing. I’ll quickly take care of you as my lord requests, so please stay still. It’ll end quickly.”

“What…?!”

Peperina furrowed her eyebrows as she was suddenly struck by dozens of gigantic spears made of green-colored psionic energy.

CRASH! CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!
