The man watched as everyone escaped calmly, as he did nothing to interfere with their departure. Then, he noticed something on the ground, not far from him.

It was the dagger Peter had used to steal Harry's blood, so he picked it up and passed the bloodied blade over his mouth.

Suddenly, his body began to change, taking on a completely regenerated appearance: elegant blond hair and a beauty anyone would envy. Not only that, but if Wanda and Stephen were still there, they would have noticed that the man resembled both of them, although with a more androgynous appearance. But it was only for an instant, as his body quickly returned to its rotten state.

"Hahaha, it looks like they still need to grow a bit more," the man said with a grin full of joy. "My descendants of this generation," he added as the dark beasts gathered around him and quickly knelt before him.

Then, an elderly wizard came flying at full speed and knelt in front of all those beasts.

"Ancestor, the Aquilalys family has been waiting for you for a long time," the old man said, bowing his head.

"Oh, so my descendants still exist... That's great," the man replied, looking at the old wizard with interest.

"Our greatest pride is seeing you again, Ancestor," the old man said with happiness.

The man approached him and lifted his face with a smile.

"Too bad you're just a wizard... Otherwise, you would make a great servant," the man said while holding the old man's face and staring directly into his eyes.

"No... We helped free your seal, Ancestor," the old man said quickly with fear, gazing into the blue eyes that observed him closely. But then, he began to feel his magic being devoured rapidly, and his face started to turn black.

"Ancestor! I am your direct descendant, please..." he begged, but in just a few seconds, his body started to dry up quickly, leaving only a completely blackened mummy on the ground.

"Then, it's time to start a new witch hunt," the man said with a grin filled with excitement and madness.

"----------------

"Why did you do that?" Tony asked quickly, already prepared to fight.

Natasha didn't respond but instead pointed at Stephen with concern.

"Stephen!" Fleur shouted as she ran toward them.

"No... Don't come any closer," Stephen said quickly, kneeling on the ground, raising his healthy hand to stop Fleur.

"Stephen, what's happening?" Perenelle asked with worry.

Then everyone saw Stephen's completely blackened hand, which seemed to be struggling against seals, runes, and chains that were being destroyed every second while others kept reappearing.

"This thing is trying to devour all my magic. You have to cut off my arm," Stephen said quickly, with sweat running down his forehead as the pain continued to grow.

"What? Are you crazy?" Wanda shouted immediately.

"My magic won't hold much longer... Cut it off!" Stephen yelled as he summoned a sword of light and stabbed it into the ground.

Natasha took the lead, raised the sword quickly, and without hesitation, cut off Stephen's arm, which fell to the ground. As soon as it touched the grass, it started to dry up while the earth turned black and expanded rapidly.

Nicolas quickly threw several objects to the ground, creating a barrier to contain the spread of darkness, but it was beginning to darken, showing that it wouldn't last long.

Many wizards and witches nearby moved away quickly, screaming in fear and causing some chaos. Stephen cast a spell to stop the bleeding from his missing arm, while Fleur cried and embraced him with concern.

"It's okay... It will grow back," Stephen said, sighing calmly.

"An arm can grow back?" Fleur asked, upset, while still crying heavily.

"I can do it... in a week or two. Don't worry," Stephen said, trying to reassure her.

Seeing the chaos, Dumbledore acted quickly.

"Silence!" he shouted, amplifying his voice with his wand. "Please, everyone, move inside the school. Professor Nicolas Flamel will handle whatever that is... It must not leave the barriers," Dumbledore said swiftly.

Then everyone obeyed and moved away from the field.

"Mr. Stephen, it's best if you go to the infirmary to have your wound closed," Dumbledore said quickly, looking at Stephen's severed arm, which wasn't bleeding but clearly showed his flesh and bones.

"Yes," Stephen replied, while Fleur didn't want to leave his side.

"Professor Nicolas, can you handle it?" Dumbledore asked quickly.

"Don't worry. I'll just lift the section of the ground and take it to a safe place," Nicolas said as he continued throwing one magical tool after another.

Meanwhile, the others followed Stephen with concern and intrigue.

In the infirmary, Stephen's wound was closed.

"I'm sorry, boy. I can only repair missing bones, but I can't regenerate an arm," Madam Pomfrey said as she observed Stephen's amputated arm.

"Don't worry, Poppy. I can regenerate it myself," Stephen said calmly.

The nurse looked at him strangely but said nothing to discourage him, even if she didn't believe him.

In a private room within the building of the International Confederation of Magic, six people " or rather, six projections " were having a meeting. Three were women and the other three were men.

"Aquilalys is dead," said one of the projections seriously, whose appearance was impossible to recognize.

"That damn traitor. Better if he's dead. If I caught him with my own hands, I'd tear him apart and feed his remains to the hippogriffs," one of the women present said angrily.

"I can't believe he betrayed us. Did he think that thing would welcome him with open arms? What an idiot," one of the men said with disdain.

"Sigh... That thing only seeks the destruction of our magical world. Even if they were its descendants, they won't be spared, especially because they helped maintain the seals for years," added another member.

"What do we do, Lunavestra?" one of them asked, while everyone directed their gaze toward one of the projections.

"What our family has done for thousands of years: protect our own. It's time to cut all communication with the Muggle world before what we all fear happens," Lunavestra responded with concern.

"You don't believe that man will start a witch hunt again, do you?" asked another of the women.

"That man feeds off the suffering and pain of wizards. The Muggle world of these times is much more powerful than in the past. If they start hunting us, it will be the beginning of a war," said another member with irritation.

"Especially in that time, he only influenced the minds of Muggles while still under Merlin's seal. Now it's different; now he's free," said another of those present with worry.

"We'll have to rely on the new generation the world chose. In the meantime, we must do our part," Lunavestra said quickly.

"Alright. Let's do that. We'll have to alert all the magical ministries around the world and cut all connections with the Muggle world," said one of the women as her projection disappeared.

"If I recall correctly, the newcomers are still just children," commented one of them before vanishing.

"Let's hope they can do something and don't end up strengthening that monster," said another, leaving those words before disappearing as well.

"Hmph. Leaving some people to solve our problems..." said a woman before vanishing quickly.

"I hope they end this once and for all," said another as his image faded, leaving only Lunavestra.

"Sigh... I hope the world made the right choice by bringing people from another place. Many have already died at his hands. Only Merlin managed to seal him, but even so, that man continued to interfere with the world while amusing himself," Lunavestra said with a complicated look before fading away and leaving the private meeting room completely empty.

"--------------------

Black letters flew all over the world, heading to magical schools, ministries, and places connecting the magical world with the Muggle world.

The orders were simple: within a week, all connections with the Muggle world would cease to protect the wizards. Wizards and witches living in the Muggle world should move to the magical world promptly. Their relatives would be allowed entry, but they would no longer be able to return to the Muggle world until further notice. If any of their relatives remained in the Muggle world, they could not be contacted again until further notice.

The places connecting to the Muggle world were to close their doors to prevent access from and to that side. The Ministries of Magic would have to help relocate those wizards who had nowhere to stay in the magical world to safe places.

At that moment, an international martial law would be established.

There was nothing else explaining what was happening, which left everyone scared and nervous.
