Everyone’s gaze shifted toward it.
This place was a barren land nestled among dense jungles, seemingly a hidden spot.
As the vehicle traveled through, the passengers soon discovered… a secret structure surprisingly established here, with many people standing outside, silently gazing at them, their faces deathly still, their eyes filled with anticipation yet also cautious.
“Is this X…?” The young man looked toward these people; each one seemed to have slight spiritual energy fluctuations about them, and from a physical standpoint, they appeared trained, but judging by the mix of ages, they didn’t resemble a military organization.
Because… most were young, adolescents, even children, displaying an innocence unacquainted with the ways of the world, yet their eyes were wary as they watched them.
“What exactly is this place?” Blondie turned to Bearded Man, “Why are they all kids?”
Bearded Man did not speak.
