“You’ll have only two minutes to meet with that guy, make the most of it.”

Divine Gun Alma watched as Rosh, who had always been very calm, anxiously made her way toward the depths of the prison at this moment.

After Divine Gun Alma activated the door of the deepest cell, Rosh glanced at her teacher. Only after Divine Gun Alma slightly nodded did she jog her way into it.

“As a Governor, I’m entitled to authorize one person to visit this prison, surely you can’t take out your anger on me just because Thorne’s self-surrender resulted in the rescinding of the authorization to invade the fringe star systems?” Divine Gun Alma said, looking at her only peer in the Sustainable Sanctuary.

The entire Creation Sanctuary is not fully controlled by the Governors; above the Governors, there is another rank – if the Governors are likened to princes, then this rank is akin to an emperor.

But this emperor rank is not held by any living being, but by intelligent AI or, shall we say, man-made laws.

This man-made laws AI controls the entire operation of the Creation Sanctuary, just like when the Sustainable Sanctuary applied for permission to go to the remote fringes to capture Thorne, it was actually planning to use the recently discovered descendants of the Devouring God as weapons… this command was immediately revoked when Thorne surrendered.
