Legendary Traveler: By Earning Progress Points I will Become Supreme!

Chapter 280: The Difference Between Nodes (6)

Although the Host's way of thinking is correct, they are forgetting an important factor, and that is the cost of summoning such beings

Currently, even if the Host were to go on a murderous rampage, it would be impossible to use the higher grade Ark Stones recovered from the Ruins

Simply put, the Grade-8 Ark Stones, *Pink Ones*, have an Energia Value of 100 million Units, which is 1000 Times the maximum Veeramon Score Value of a being at that Grade

'Yeah, but that only includes those high-grade Stones, not the lower ones. Just imagining something with the Strength of Kuro landing in a city full of Mundanes is enough to make my blood run cold. It's a good thing they don't come out fully charged or else…' Trembling slightly, Aoni's arms went from being crossed over his chest to hugging his body.

Since we are already on the topic of Strength, allow me to clear up the inconsistency the Host has yet to realize, and that is the fact that Summon: Kuro was brought out of the Flume without a single star filled

That was merely a product of being summoned by a Traveler

'You don't mean…' Eyes widening slowly, it dawned on Aoni how incorrect his thinking was.

Correct, beings summoned through the Ark Stones outside of the purview of a Flume, will manifest with their full power intact

'Shit, shit shit, AN, how many times have incidents like that occurred on Terra, you expect me to believe that something this powerful has never been used by some evil cult or something of that nature in the past.'

In known history, instances of beings summoned from Genovia through the use of Ark Stones are far and few between. With that being said, the most recent incident occurred 12,000 years ago, thus there is no reason to believe it would ever be a common occurrence

That being said, the Host stumbled upon something that should have long since been removed from existence, and it would be sufficient to say, these may very well be among the only remaining few Ark Stones

However, as I am merely a collective of subconscious-based knowledge, it is impossible to be omniscient, and as such, the possibility of such an event occurring isn't zero %, though still relatively small

Reading this gave some solace to Aoni's frantic mind; however, if there were even a 1% chance of it happening, that meant it was still possible.

Genovia was large, far too large to have been completely explored top to bottom, so there's no telling if more hidden treasures or legacies didn't exist somewhere, after all, didn't he find one?

The Host shouldn't concern themself with things outside their scope of control, for now, it is advised that the Host only use Ark Stones when in range of their Flume, in that way, not only will they obtain powerful Summons with high Growth Potential, but also useful subjects capable of thinking and moving about through life on their own

---

Sensing that Aoni's mind was stressed, the Attribute Notice gave him several minutes to collect his thoughts, leaving the topic of identifying the intricacies of Ark Stones for later.

That being the case, Charlotte was the first to come back to reality, especially since she hadn't just been info dumped by a sassy chatbox.

However, that was all about to change because by the time Aoni came around, he didn't hold back in dragging Char down to hell with him. He explained everything he'd just learned without missing a single detail. After all, she already knew about the AN and that it would often give him information.

---

"Ao…these things, we can never let them see the light of day on Terra, you know that right?" Charlotte stated with the most serious face Aoni had ever seen her wear.

"Ye…yeah, if for some reason they fell into, say, the hands of the Monarch, it would be disastrous for the world, let alone our country."

"No, you don't get it, Ao. He isn't the problem; none of the Supremes are. As it stands, they can already bring as many Summons to Terra from their Territory as they have Stars, so the issue is that they would probably stand by and let the monsters destroy everything so long as it didn't touch their bottom line."

"In the best case scenario, the Supremes would merely let them establish territories of their own and leave them be; the problem lies in those organizations that want to overthrow governments or just cause chaos."

"Terra is a far darker place than you understand, hell, the only reason I know is because Archie shows everyone at some point through his connection to the Dark Web." Standing up and pacing the room, Charlotte cupped her chin with one hand before giving her halfwit brother an example.

"Think of it this way, Party A has an argument with Party B over losing profits, so they sneak into Party B's business and drop an Ark Stone to destroy everything."

"This triggers a retaliation from Party B, who does the same to A, but now Party C has some damages and they return the favor, snowballing things to a point where entire cities or counties are wiped off the map."

"This isn't something that would necessarily affect the world on a grand scale, but once these stones are known to everyone, it will only cause the greedy to take action, painting a target on their source, that is why I am saying they must never leave your territory, under any circumstances." Spinning around on her heels, Charlotte met Aoni's eyes and didn't break contact with him until he nodded in affirmation.

"Good, now, putting that aside, that doesn't mean you can't grow yourself into a force to be reckoned with, at least here on Genovia, that is, because you now have the means to summon EXACTLY what you want, no random chance, no weird variables." Walking over to her brother, Charlotte gripped Aoni by the shoulders and looked him dead in the eye with a fanatically glint in her gaze.
