Chapter 471: 471: The Upton Family’s Day of Judgment
The Upton Family Estate.
“You have no right to bring us here! What evidence do you have that we’re behind this?”
“Exactly! This won’t end here. You’d better be ready for a lawsuit!”
“Don’t think you can trample over us just because you’re a bunch of cops. What, you think the Upton Family eats dirt?”
More than twenty direct members of the Upton Family had been hauled back to their ancestral estate from across the country, now seated like defendants in a courtroom.
“Get the fuck out of my way! No one lays a hand on me—Max Upton! Come on, shoot me if you’ve got the balls!”
Max barked arrogantly, his temper flaring.
Beside him, a young woman sneered, her voice thick with contempt:
“Our family pays billions in taxes every year—what the hell are you lapdogs good for? Now you’re biting the hands that feed you?”
Despite all the shouting, none of them dared act out.
At the estate entrance, a squad of masked, heavily armed men stood silent and still—their presence exuding a lethal aura far beyond that of any law enforcement unit.
“Step aside! I’ve got important business to handle. I don’t care who you are—get in my way, and you’ll regret it!”
Max rose from his chair, reaching out to shove one of the silent enforcers.
“Sit. Down.”
A cold voice snapped.
It came from a member of the Bruce Family.
Max sneered, baring his teeth:
What do you think?
