He paused for a moment, then murmured, “No wonder Winona said she was no longer recognized by the Crown of Sin. Looks like this divine item is more complicated than I thought. It can choose its master?”

A smirk appeared on Orson’s face as he teased, “Then aren’t you afraid of falling into corruption?”

Ursula’s response made Orson regard her with new respect. She smiled softly and shook her head. “Born in the sea of sin, I was destined to fall. It’s my fate.”

Orson rarely had such thoughts about NPCs. While most NPCs adhered to the will of the gods, some were exceptions.

The Crown of Sin choosing its master explained why Cassandra, the candidate for empress, had been so eager to collect the Fragments of the Blood Demon Essence.

It also made sense why Cassandra knew the Crown of Sin could choose its master and needed to be sealed by the Purple-Gold Dragon King to be used.

Orson pondered for a moment. Cassandra had offered a very generous reward for her quest, and he couldn’t afford to pass it up. But he also didn’t want to see someone from the Purple-Gold family become empress.

“Ursula! Lili’s here!”

Ursula raised her head slightly, and a small figure staggered toward her. Her eyes glimmered as she watched.

“I follow the will of the God-Emperor. I obey you.” Ursula smiled warmly and bowed deeply to Orson.

“You filthy…” Suddenly, Hillogu, who had been hiding behind Ursula, yelled, “Don’t forget, your life is in the hands of the Church! That supreme being will not let you go!”

With that, the old man shook with anger, and with a slap, he struck Ursula’s flawless face.

“Damn heretic!” Hillogu cursed through gritted teeth. He pulled out a space scroll, and a portal appeared behind him.

Without hesitation, Hillogu turned and tried to step through the portal. Orson scoffed, having already anticipated this move.

His golden Supreme Soul Disc summoned, wielding its staff, casting Golden Law: Tenfold Gravity!

Hillogu’s face turned pale as though a mountain had been placed on top of him. But this sneaky man wasn’t done yet. With veins bulging on his forehead, he activated his Domain Lord-Class power and tried to take another step toward escape.

The golden Supreme Soul Disc remained expressionless, its Whisper of the Wind boosting its attack speed, while Chaos Magic Balls pelted Hillogu relentlessly.
