Bella Quarter and Eleanor Thompson were both in a bad mood because Dale Land was still alive.
On the other hand, Dale Land returned home from the clubhouse past eleven o’clock at night.
As soon as she walked through the door, she saw her parents sitting in the living room.
The atmosphere at home was tranquil and warm.
She loved this kind of atmosphere.
“Dad, Mom, I’m back,” Dale Land walked to the sofa and sat down. She mentioned what had happened with Eleanor Thompson, “Mom, I ran into Eleanor Thompson at the clubhouse today.”
She recounted the situation briefly and said, “She is very hostile toward me.”
Julia Land and James Thompson exchanged a glance.
How odd—this hostility seemed rather inexplicable.
The couple decided to keep their thoughts to themselves and plan to discuss them later at night.
“Do you want Dad to help you?” James Thompson initially intended for his daughter to hone her ability to handle such matters, but now he was tempted to step in on her behalf.
If Eleanor Thompson hated Dale, perhaps sending her far away would be the simplest solution.
