Chapter 723 - 526: Captain America Starts Filming and Summer Slot
"The Expendables 2" in its third week of release reached a cumulative North America box office of 124 million US dollars, with a relatively large drop in box office, while overseas it has accumulated 235 million US dollars.
This shows that veteran action movies still have a strong box office appeal internationally.
Because of the decent box office performance of "The Expendables 2," Lionsgate Films and Millennium Films, along with Wanda Film Industry, began preparations for "The Expendables 3." The plan is to feature Link, Scarlett Johansson, and Jason Statham as the protagonists, with Stallone, Bruce Willis, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Jet Li, and others as supporting characters in the action film.
Considering that Link has to shoot "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" this year, "The Expendables 2" is scheduled for shooting in the second half of the year or next year.
"Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier" began development last year, and officially started filming on April 1st. The film continues the narratives from "Captain America 1" and "The Avengers."
The story revolves around Captain America Steve Rogers, who is hunted and pursued by former SHIELD director Alexander Pierce on suspicion of murdering SHIELD director Nick Fury. In his flight, he gets assistance from Black Widow and Falcon Sam Wilson, and he encounters his old friend Barnes.
Just like Captain America, Barnes didn't die after falling into icy waters during World War II but was instead thawed by the Soviets, who fitted him with a cybernetic arm and trained him to become a loyal Soviet assassin, known as the 'Winter Soldier,' and assigned to assassinate top figures in the United States.
Having lost his memory upon awakening, Barnes doesn't recognize Captain America, and several intense confrontations occur between them. Ultimately, Captain America saves the Winter Soldier and uncovers the secrets of SHIELD, preventing the execution of the "Insight Project."
The film's plot is deeper than the first installment, and Captain America's character is more developed. There are many large set pieces in the film, and it has more highlights than the first one.
The directors of "Captain America 2" are the brothers Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, known for their work on "Community."
The main cast includes Link, Sebastian Stan as the Winter Soldier, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Anthony Mackie as Falcon, Samuel L. Jackson as SHIELD director Nick Fury, Robert Redford as the major antagonist Alexander Pierce, and more.
The filming locations are mainly in Los Angeles, California, Washington, Cleveland, Ohio, and other places.
As there were many training scenes for Captain America during shooting, Link also brought his training to the film crew's training venue, spending every day on set shooting or training, with Scarlett Johansson occasionally sneaking into his training room for secret date.
Scarlett Johansson is that type of woman who is not very skilled but likes to play around, always taking the initiative to approach Link.
But because Link's body has become stronger and more robust, with greater strength,
He can be quite rough with her during training, not going easy on her body.
It always ends with Scarlett Johansson being unable to keep up.
Every time, Scarlett would complain that he was too rough, but after a few days, she'd be sneaking back to him, allowing him to do as he pleased.
Link, who often exercises, tends to have excess nutrition and energy.
When he was at home, he had Ivanka, Taylor, Jennifer Lawrence, Dadalio to keep him company every week, so there was no need to hold back.
While on the film set, he often couldn't see Ivanka and others, and with his status as a big star, it wasn't convenient to go out looking for female company.
Scarlett's willingness to offer herself perfectly met his urgent needs.
Then there's Hayley Atwell, who plays Agent Carter, with very few scenes in this film, only three. When leaving, she shyly expressed her affection for him.
After dubbing was complete, Link accepted her feelings and had an additional training session in the training room.
Hayley Atwell is a 30-year-old British beauty, with a great figure, and a generous bust, not much less than Ivanka or Dadalio.
She was a bit tougher to handle than Scarlett.
"This place used to be where I received training."
On the set of "Captain America 2," Link, holding the shield, looked around the military base and said,
"Has it changed much?"
Scarlett Johansson, holding a signal receiver, asked.
"Just a little."
Link, gazing at the empty training ground, said absent-mindedly.
"This is a blind spot."
Scarlett Johansson stopped and said, "There's no infrared signal, no radio waves, and even the wireless is dead. Any documents written here need to be sent using a router."
Link looked around, his eyes resting on a building.
"What's this?"
Scarlett asked.
"The military regulations prohibit private possession of firearms within five hundred yards from the barracks; the location of this building is problematic."
Link strode towards the triangular cement building.
"Cut!"
"That's a wrap."
Director Anthony Russo shouted.

Link spent over twenty days on the set of "Captain America 2," finishing the outdoor scenes. The remaining parts that require special effects will be shot in the studio, likely to continue around June or July.
After a busy month, Link returned to Los Angeles for rest, training with his kids every day, occasionally visiting the company, practicing piano and writing new songs under Taylor's supervision, and also joined three flying lesson sessions and one skydiving.
Towards late April, Hollywood entered the summer season.
In April, Lionsgate released two films, "Identity Thief" and "Battlefield Earth 2."
During the summer season, there are six films including "The Heat," "Now You See Me," "The Crazy Ones," "Her," "Rust and Bone," and the co-produced "World War Z."
Among the two films released in April, "Identity Thief" surpassed expectations at the box office. This comedy film stars Jason Bateman, "Bridesmaids" supporting actress Melissa McCarthy, John Cho, and others.
