Cultivation Struggles of a Lowly Fox

Chapter 409 – Sisters’ reunion

"Mum!" Fang Jia pouted at her mother.

"What?" Fang Jie played innocent.

"Don't steal my Aiko!" Fang Jie protested. "And don't feed her weird stuff!"

"A bit late for that." Aiko chuckled. Observing the duo.

"Mum!!" Fang Jia was like a rebellious teen in her twenties.

"What? I haven't done anything. That little Foxie shrugged everything off." Fang Jie pouted, like she was being wronged by her own daughter.

"Thankfully, but you know what happened to the others that you have fed your Pills and other things!" Fang Jia scolded her mother.

"It's not like they didn't ask for it." Fang Jie rolled her eyes.

"Guys, I'm still here." Aiko proclaimed speechlessly. She was being completely ignored!

"Suuuure!" Fang Jia snorted. "As if! You always say: Oh, how about tea? And then you feed them some kind of Pill Tea!" Fang Jia would have none of that if it came to Aiko.

"That's..." Fang Jie paused and awkwardly coughed. "Not entirely wrong." She awkwardly scratched her cheek.

"I know! That's why I'm saying this." Fang Jia protested again.

Aiko observed their situation. 'This place has a boundary too, and since nobody is around, I will invite Feifei.'

As the duo bickered, Aiko pulled out a few snacks from her tails and prepared to observe their antics.

She also pulled out Feifei and shushed her, before they not-so-quietly munched on the snacks.

"Shouldn't you invite the other girls?" Feifei whispered to Aiko.

'It would be too suspicious, I just want you to meet your sis." Aiko shrugged.

Feifei hugged Aiko for such kind consideration, before observing the bickering duo.

"I didn't think she had such a beautiful mother." Feifei lamented that she didn't have her notes with her. She would be able to paint so many smut stories with those!

"Don't even think about it. It's enough that you drool over all of us." Aiko rolled her eyes.

"That's not true." Feifei pouted and munched on her snacks.

"Could you stop eating while we are trying to talk?!" Fang Jie finally couldn't bear those sounds and snapped at Aiko. "!" She noticed another strange individual next to her.

"Mum?" Fang Jia tilted her head, before turning it towards Aiko. "Huh? Feifei? Is that you?" She observed her dead sister, who had scales on her body here and there.

"Hehe~, Hello~" Feifei smiled at both of them.

Fang Jie had an unsightly expression, but Fang Jia went to hug her. "I thought you were dead."

"Nope, well, I almost was, but thanks to Aiko, I was able to actually live my life." Feifei then smirked. "I'm a half-step Dragon, fear me! Rawr!" She teased her sister, whom she missed.

Fang Jia laughed happily. "It's good that you are energetic again."

"Oh, you have no idea. It was so suffocating when my mother fed me those drops." Feifei shivered. "But everything has been dealt with and I'm no longer like a honey bee attracting attention everywhere." She said proudly.

"But you still are." Aiko immediately retorted.

"Yeah, that's definitely the case." Fang Jia agreed with Aiko, since Fang Feifei became even more beautiful when she was not looking.

Feifei blushed and looked away. "I'm just Feifei now, so address me like that, please. I'm no longer Human~" She hummed as her tail slapped the ground.

"Mum..." Fang Jia felt heartbroken.

"What is it, sweetie?" Fang Jie immediately showed a concerned expression.

"Why am I the only one that doesn't have a tail..." Fang Jia sobbed quietly.

Fang Jie was speechless and also felt a tinge of pain.

"At least I can smack you like this without anything getting in the way." Aiko proclaimed as she smacked Fang Jie's ass.

"Kya!" Fang Jia yelped and rubbed her left cheek. "Aiko!" She glared at Aiko, like she had never been unhappy to begin with.

Fang Jie felt strange about this situation, but she was quite happy that Aiko was able to cheer her up... albeit she didn't appreciate the way she did it.

Feifei stared at her sis's ass. "Can I too?" She was already rubbing her hands.

"NO!" Fang Jia glared at the duo.

""Awwww."" The duo said in unison, clearly unhappy.

"You-!" Fang Jia was speechless at their antics, but deep inside, she was incredibly happy that Feifei was alright. She was the only one who didn't bully her, and while they didn't meet face to face, they still held good feelings towards each other.

...

Feifei and Fang Jia chatted happily. Naturally, Fang Jia was restraining Feifei's grubby hands, so that she wouldn't be molested by her own sister.

Aiko watched on the side happily, with this reunion, most of her companions had their own happy reunions.

'All that's left is Lady Liu, but that can wait until she recovers her voice.' Aiko also didn't mind Chen Shi suffering a bit. He needed to grow up a bit more so that he wasn't like a bickering child.

Well, that was Aiko's perspective, since she held a small grudge against him.

Chen Shi was a very reasonable, but overprotective person. That was only natural since he lost the love of his life many times, and he didn't want that to repeat.

Unfortunately, he failed and would suffer for it, for the time being.

...

Aiko munched on her snack as Fang Jie sat nearby. "It's been a while since my daughter was this happy."

"You mean since a while back when she noticed me?" Aiko was in a retorting mood and would not leave anyone unscathed.

Fang Jie pinched Aiko's cheek.

"Auau." Aiko groaned unhappily since her meal time was interrupted.

"Thank you." Fang Jie smiled gently. She felt better knowing that, 'that' special person was not someone foreign.

"They seem to be in good spirits." Fang Jie sighed happily.

"Seems like it. How long is the journey? Should we relocate to a more comfortable place?" Aiko asked her.

"It's not that long, but Feifei shouldn't be shown in front of the Patriarch." Fang Jie clicked her tongue. She knew that the Patriarch was escaping due to that whore, so she could only stay in the Mortal World for the time being.

"I will be enough." Aiko noticed that implication and shrugged.

"You too?" Fang Jie widened her eyes. She was talking about those drops.

"Yeeeah, the one that bestowed those drops 'graced' me with her presence." Aiko spat on the ground in disdain. "Fortunately, everything turned out all right eventually, but I believe there are already rumours about a beautiful Fox commanding the masses." She clicked her tongue.

"Now that you mention it... There was an event where the Sects rushed for Treasure, only to return completely enamoured." Fang Jie paused and looked at Aiko.

"Don't look at me like that, I didn't think I would have that kind of effect." Aiko rolled her eyes.

"True." Fang Jie nodded. She didn't really hold it against Aiko.

'She was the victim, after all.' Fang Jie clicked her tongue. "I think you will get along."

"I don't think so. I'm not very liked." Aiko said, since most would pursue her for her beauty, if they didn't know the rumours.

If they knew the rumours, it was even worse than that, as many would seek her just so they could get impaled...

Aiko shivered before munching again.

"Let's stay here until we arrive, so they have time to play around." Fang Jie smiled faintly.

"Sure." Aiko didn't mind, but she pulled out a few more Foxes from her Tails.

Fang Jie almost coughed up blood when she saw that. "I was wondering how you brought Feifei here, but to think you could command the Space Law." She was completely speechless at Aiko's prowess.

Aiko tilted her head, but didn't say anything.

"What would you like us to do, Mistress?" Yu was the first one to speak.

"Nothing. Just enjoy your time before we arrive, since this mission will be slightly delayed." Aiko sighed unhappily.

The Demonic Foxes were puzzled, but soon mingled with each other.

"So..." Fang Jie didn't know how to say this.

"So, what?" Aiko tilted her head.

"They are Demonic Foxes, right?" Fang Jie asked awkwardly, since she couldn't believe her eyes.

"Yeah." Aiko nodded. "They are all Demonic Foxes and they are very cuddly." She caressed the head of one of the Demonic Foxes, and she purred happily.

"..." Fang Jie felt a sudden headache. "Aren't they... You know... supposed to be feral?" She didn't know how to word it without offending the docile Demonic Foxes.

"I suppose." Aiko shrugged and noticed that the Demonic Foxes glared at the Demonic Fox that received the head pats.

Aiko went around to give head pats to all of them.

"It's because voices fear her." Yu briefly explained to Fang Jie, since it seemed like she had a good relationship with Aiko.

"Huh? So those rumours are also true?" Fang Jie was shocked. "Are you really hostile because of those voices?" She asked them.

"Yeah. They wear on our minds, and we turn feral because our minds are too weak and worn out." Yu nodded. "That is not the case when we are around Aiko, and with her current strength, I believe that even if we separate for a few years, we will retain reason very easily." She praised Aiko inside her mind.

"That incredible, huh." Fang Jie opened her eyes wide. She didn't expect Aiko to be a much greater being than what she heard in the rumours.

"Whoa! So many Foxes." Fang Jia liked fluffy things, so she was naturally inclined to go after the Foxes.

The Demonic Foxes warily stared at her, but when Feifei gave the nod of approval, they just ate their snacks, ignoring her presence.

Fang Jia slowly approached them with combs and got to work, socialising with the other Foxes.

"I know that feeling." Aiko sighed, looking at the adoring Princess.

"So you were a victim too, huh?" Fang Jie chuckled.

"I wouldn't say victim, but she was quite clingy." Aiko laughed.

"You don't sound like you minded." Fang Jie narrowed her eyes.

"Why would I mind? She is cute." Aiko shrugged, and Fang Jie rolled her eyes.

"I can't believe that my daughter likes this Fox." Fang Jie shook her head.

"Oi! I'm still here, ya know." Aiko glared at her.

"Oh my, I didn't notice you." Fang Jie stuck out her tongue.

...

The Demonic Foxes quite liked this half-Fox. They were not apprehensive like the normal Foxes, because they were also ostracised.

As such, there was a familiar emotion between them that allowed them to bond quite quickly.

"We have limited time to play, so let's do this properly!" Fang Jia's eyes burned with passion as she intended to groom all the Foxes inside this room.

It helped greatly that most Foxes had only a single tail, as they wouldn't be able to obtain another one without a sane mind.

The Grandmaster also forbade them from acquiring more tails until they understood their powers. Otherwise, it would be a self-destructive act.

As they played, the Foxes and Fang Jia bonded greatly, which allowed her to like Aiko even more.

She didn't really want to put a stop to her play time with the Demonic Foxes...
